We begin with a detailed consultation, measurements, and substrate checks. Our team verifies framing, installs backing where needed, and helps you select the right board—standard, moisture- and mold-resistant, or fire-rated Type X—based on room use, code requirements, and acoustic goals.
Boards are hung with proper orientation and fastener spacing, seams are taped, and joints receive multiple coats of compound with appropriate drying times. We use the Fess Tool dustless system during sanding to maintain air quality, then spot-light surfaces, prime for verification, and complete a final walkthrough.

Choose from 1/2-inch, 5/8-inch, lightweight, and abuse-resistant boards, plus 54-inch panels for 9-foot walls to reduce horizontal seams. We can bend 1/4-inch panels for gentle curves and use fiberglass-mat or moisture-resistant products where added durability is needed.
For sound control, we offer 5/8-inch boards, resilient channels, acoustic sealants, and mineral wool. Fire-rated assemblies (Type X, shaftliner) are installed per UL designs and local code, and moisture-prone areas receive the appropriate mold-resistant or cement backer options behind tile.
Finish levels are matched to your lighting and design: Level 4 for most painted walls and Level 5 skim coat for critical lighting or high-sheen paints. We install clean reveal trims, protect adjacent finishes, and use the Fess Tool dustless system for a refined, consistent finish.
